OPEN HOUSE DAYS ON THE CAMPUSES

On the 18-19 March and 6-7 April, 2010 free-of-charge Open House Days are held on the Swiss campuses of SHMS. Visitors are welcome.

SHMS, Swiss Hotel Management School is Switzerland’s largest English speaking hote management institution, with students from more than 60 countries around the world. The campuses of the school are located close to Lake Geneva in Caux-Montreux and in the alpine resort of Leysin. The traditional campus of SHMS occupies the former 5-star Caux Palace, the hotel where Switzerland’s reputation for hospitality was born.

Students who undertake the Degree programme at SHMS will have the chance to graduate with three internationally recognised qualifications:

Swiss Higher Diploma in International Hotel, Travel and Tourism or Events Management
AH&LA American Diploma in Hospitality Management
British BA (Hons) Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or Events Management.

The BA (Hons) and MA programmes offered at SHMS are awarded by the University of Derby, a leading UK University which in 2004 was ranked by the Guardian newspaper as being in the top five British Universities for hospitality and tourism. This guarantees that the highest standards are maintained and confers international accreditation and world-wide recognition to the qualifications we offer.

Graduates from English-speaking high schools applying to SHMS are exempted from the entrance exam in English language.
